The average percentage of a given population group watching a TV channel/program across a set time interval. One rating point equals 1 percentage.

Viewing of a specified population, whether households or individuals, that is tuned to a particular program or station during a given time interval, and expressed as a percentage of the total TV audience during that interval.

HUT is the percentage of homes that are tuned in to TV at a particular time.

The sum of all rating points achieved for a particular/specified period of time for an event, schedule of commercials or spots.

The number of different or unduplicated households that are exposed to a television program or commercial at least once during a specified time period.

Average number of times a household or a person viewed a given television program, station or commercial during a specific time period.
